Weekly photo challenge: Nostalgic

Yay, I’m almost not late for the Nostalgic challenge! Although I’m on vacation, so sorry for the lack of posts. I know I still have to write the making-of for the “World Through My Eyes” trick :).

Ouééééé! Je ne suis presque pas en retard pour le défi photo hebdomadaire Nostalgic (Nostalgique)! Bien qu’en vacances, donc désolé pour le manque de billets. Je sais qu’il me reste le making-of à faire pour l’astuce du “World Through My Eyes” :).

FlickrFriday #24: Yesterday / Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgic (1/500s, ƒ/5, ISO 400, 42 mm)

This is a “two birds with one stone” kind of approach. The FlickrFriday Theme was “Yesterday” and the Weekly Photo Challenge was “Nostalgic”. Those can be related. So when I arrived at my sister’s wedding and discovered the groom had steampunked his suit, I thought to myself: “Steampunk? What an appropriate way to show one’s nostalgia of yesterday into today :)”.

J’ai un peu fait d’une pierre deux coups. Le thème pour FlickrFriday était “Yesterday” et le Défi photo hebdomadaire “Nostalgic”. Les deux peuvent être liés. Donc en arrivant au mariage de ma sœur et en voyant que le marié avait steampunké son costume, je me suis dit: “Steampunk? Quelle bonne manière d’exprimer sa nostalgie d’hier au temps présent :)”.
