Weekly photo challenge: Lunch Time

Another “phone based” challenge this week from the daily post. This time the theme is “lunchtime“. Last week’s challenge was enough to comfort me in the idea that

1. My phone is definitely not the right tool for my bilingual and verbose writing style
2. Phoneography isn’t an area I want to focus on at the moment, considering that I still think there is a lot of room for improvement with my photographic skills with my DSLR

Encore un défi “mobile” cette semaine de la part du Daily Post. Cette fois, le thème est “déjeuner“. Le défi de la semaine dernière a suffi pour me conforter dans l’idée que

1. Mon téléphone n’est vraiment pas le bon outil pour mon style d’écriture bilingue et verbeux
2. La phonographie n’est pas un domaine sur lequel je souhaite me concentrer en ce moment, vu que je pense que j’ai encore énormément à apprendre du point de vue photographique avec mon réflex

So with this theme of “Lunch Time”, which basically mostly prompts you to snap a pic of your lunch, instagram it and put it up there… (ok, they say you can also take pictures of places where you have lunch, or preparing it, and that you don’t have to use your phone… I eat at home, often uninteresting lunches from the local school canteen. Nothing worth showing. And I don’t pick from archives for this challenge, as a self-imposed rule) all I could think of with that theme was this:

Donc avec ce thème de “déjeuner”, qui vous incite principalement à prendre en photo votre déjeuner, l’instagrammer et l’afficher… (ok, ils disent qu’on peut aussi prendre des photos des endroits où l’on mange, ou alors la préparation, et qu’on n’est pas obligés d’utiliser le téléphone… Je mange chez moi, souvent des déjeuners assez ennuyeux de la cantine de l’école du village. Rien de bien intéressant. Et je ne pompe pas dans mes archives pour ce défi, c’est une règle que je me suis imposé) je me suis retrouvé avec ça collé dans la tête pour ce thème:

Sorry :). That’s also why I wrote my post about the FlickrFriday challenge, where the theme spoke to me more than the dailyPost’s. Well, their phoneography month ends in two weeks. Hopefully the next theme will inspire me more than this one…

Désolé :). C’est aussi pour ça que j’ai écrit mon billet sur le FlickrFriday, où le thème m’était plus parlant que celui du Daily Post. Bon, leur mois de la phonographie finit dans deux semaines. Avec un peu de chance le prochain thème m’inspirera plus que l’actuel…
