Weekly Photo Challenge : Resolved

Following my Project 52 wrap up, I was asked “what now?” and one friend said she’d be tempted to try the Daily Post‘s Weekly Photo Challenge. I had a look, and it sounded like fun. So I decided I’d give it a try. For the first week, the theme is “Resolved”. I think my picture sums it up pretty well. What better than a quick draw to better match the theme? After all, I “resolved” to maintain and improve my climbing skills. And the quick draw’s purpose is to keep you safe in case you fall. Because as you take on new challenges, you’re always likely to fall, and if you do, you don’t have to start all over again when you pick yourself up… You may fall, but the quick draw holds… Resolute.

Suite à mon bilan sur le projet 52, on m’a demandé “maintenant, tu vas faire quoi?” et une amie m’a dit qu’elle était tentée par le Défi Photo Hebdomadaire du Daily Post. J’ai regardé, ça avait l’air sympa. Donc j’ai décidé de tenter aussi. Pour la première semaine, le thème est “Resolved” (Résolu). Je crois que ma photo correspond pas mal. Quoi de mieux qu’une dégaine pour coller au thème? Après tout, je me suis “résolu” à continuer sur ma lancée en termes d’escalade. Et le but d’une dégaine c’est de vous protéger en cas de chute. Parce que quand on relève un défi, on a toujours une chance de se vautrer, et quand ça arrive, pas besoin de tout recommencer quand on se relève… On peut tomber, la dégaine tient bon… Résolue.
