Zelda’s 10 year anniversary / Les 10 ans du Zelda

This summer, The Zelda’s celebrated its 10 years anniversary!

Cet été, le Zelda a fêté ses 10 ans!

To celebrate, there was a huge party, including a drag show. Having never been to one, I thought it would be a good day for it ;). They removed the tables on the Patio to provide more room, set up the little stage, and get the show going.

Pour fêter ça, il y avait une grosse soirée, avec un drag show. N’en ayant jamais vu, je me suis dit que c’était le bon jour ;). Ils avaient retiré les tables en terrasse pour faire de la place, mettre la scène en place, et lancer le show.

I don’t think I arrived right at the beginning. but I don’t think I missed much. I saw what was advertised as “the typical drag queen in 10 years”… We’ll see if it’s really like that 😉

Je ne pense pas être arrivé au tout début, mais j’ai sûrement pas raté grand chose. J’ai vu ce qui était annoncé comme “le drag queen de base dans 10 ans”… On verra si c’est vraiment comme ça 😉

Of course, for the first time, I could see Zelda herself 😉

Bien sûr, pour la première fois, j’ai vu Zelda en personne 😉

There were all kinds of drags, performing on all kinds of songs… This one scared me a little, reminded me of Céline Dion 😀

Il y avait plein de drags, qui animaient sur plein de chansons différentes… Celui là m’a un peu fait peur, me rappelait Céline Dion 😀

This one was singing “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for”, from U2…

And this one performed on “Star Trekkin'”, from “The firm”. Didn’t know the song, but it was hilarious 🙂 (videoclip here)

One thing that puzzled me, though, was the bearded drag queen 😀

And those two probably performed on “Bewitched” 😀

Et ces deux-là faisaient sûrement une choré autour de “Ma sorcière bien aimée” 😀

Of course, it’s Zelda who was presenting everything :).

Bien sûr, c’est Zelda qui présentait tout :).

Conclusion: Very good setting, but there really was nowhere to sit ;(.
